HOW SIGN STEALING WORKS
The system of sign stealing in college football is complex, and so it was important to explain Connor’s process to the viewer in a way that was understandable, fun and visually appealing. We drew inspiration from Connor’s marine corps background and referenced the design style of US military manuals.
HEADLINES + MEDIA
For the headlines and general media, we aimed for something a little different to the usual documentary look. Everything has a textural feel that is as pieced together as the coverage of the scandal itself. We also took cues from the scribbles and diagrams in football playbooks, and Connor’s famed “manifesto”
